Made by a women’s artisan group in Baucau Municipality, Timor-Leste, this phone pouch is produced using recycled coconut fiber (coconut coir)—an organic material that transforms agricultural waste into a useful and environmentally friendly product.

This product was developed through the Coconut Coir Production and Prototyping Training under the Brand Timor Initiative, providing local women artisans with skills and opportunities to create innovative products from natural resources while supporting sustainable livelihoods.

The design of the Coconut Fiber Phone Pouch was developed through a collaboration between the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Timor-Leste (AEMTL), the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the European Union (EU). The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern functionality creates a unique accessory suitable for everyday use.
