Created by a women’s artisan group in Baucau Municipality through the Coconut Coir Production and Prototyping Training under the Brand Timor Initiative, this unique product blends sustainability, cultural heritage, and modern design. The design was developed through a collaboration between AEMTL, the International Labour Organization (ILO), and the European Union (EU) using natural and organic materials.

Made in Baucau Municipality, Timor-Leste by local women artisans who transform recycled coconut fiber into sustainable products while incorporating traditional Timorese Tais to celebrate local culture, support women’s economic empowerment, and promote environmentally friendly craftsmanship.
